History and origin
Voted best caramels in the world by the New York Times in 2000, Kanougas are over 100 years old! This soft caramel, with its powerful chocolate flavour, is the oldest speciality of the Pariès house, often better known for its Basque cakes. Originally in chocolate or coffee, our Kanougas® are now available in 6 flavours : chocolate, coffee (Tinousky), chocolate-walnut, coffee-hazelnut, vanilla-almond, salted caramel with a hint of Espelette pepper (Kaxu).
