History and Origin
One thing is certain: tiramisu comes from Italy. "Tirami sù" literally means "pull me up," in other words: cheer me up — or, in a more physical sense, give me back energy. It is said to have been created in Tuscany at the end of the 16th century for Cosimo III de' Medici, who then popularized it by bringing it back to the court of Florence. During the Renaissance, in Venice, some women offered it to their lovers as an aphrodisiac, and prostitutes used it to regain strength. Treviso proudly claims the most famous version, born in one of its restaurants — the first to incorporate mascarpone.

Description
Tiramisu is a dessert whose base is made of eggs, sugar, cold coffee, mascarpone, alcohol (Marsala or Amaretto) to soak a soft biscuit (ladyfingers, sponge cake, spoon biscuits) and sprinkled with cocoa powder. These ingredients are then layered. Our recipe does not contain alcohol.

Ingredients
Mascarpone (milk), eggs, sugar, cream (milk), coffee, wheat flour (gluten), sugar, yeast, natural flavors, salt, cocoa.
